About who needs care: Patient is in hospice with terminal cancer. He is confined to bed/wheelchair. Family members are always there. Ideally if a local caregiver could provide assistance with personal care (including bathing, toileting, transfers, encourage liquid intake, etc) for short periods off and on throughout the day. About the care needs: Caregiver should be properly trained in transfers and patient posture adjustments to avoid injury to both themselves and patient (lift belts, handled transfer pads, etc will be provided). They should also understand/follow good hygiene practices for the patients personal care Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
