We need hands-on care to take care of my mother in Lancaster. Some light tidying up is involved. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained. We are looking for a once a week caregiver for a few hours for my mom with ALS. She is still mobile but is slowing down. To start she would need light housework and companionship but as her disease progresses she will need more care and more hours. She lives with my father who is showing signs of dementia and my brother who has learning disabilities and is diagnosed schizoaffective. Currently my dad is against care for himself and my brother but I think with time they will also need care. So start off small and see if it's a good fit and with time could become a much larger task.
