About who needs care: My husband has a brain lesion that caused falling and accelerated dementia. He is now in Hospice Care at home, starting today. I'm going to have cataract surgery in two weeks, and will be unable to perform my full time caregiver duties from Dec 3 to Jan 1. I need to supplement hours from my other caregiver. About the care needs: Pleasant and helpful. My husband cannot walk or assist with transfers, cannot speak, cannot assist with toileting or feeding himself, or sucking through a straw. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
