I am looking for a caring, professional and sympathetic caregiver for my mom. My Mom is 76 years old and is suffering from Parkinson's. She has severe orthostatic hypotension that causes dizziness and episodes of syncope and freezing of gait, so this greatly limits her mobility and so she needs assistance with ambulating and medication reminders. Mom toilets, showers, dresses and feeds herself, but needs someone standing by at all hours to assist. Tidying, light housekeeping and laundry would be required as well. I am looking for someone with experience with Parkinson's patients and the symptoms that may present, ideally an RN, LPN or CNA with active license, background check and references. I am looking to have as few caregivers as possible to keep things simple, so please be willing to do 8- hour shifts and/or overnights.
