About the job
Hey there- my name is Kayla and my family (husband and two young kids) recently moved in with my 85-year-old grandfather, Gary. While I am fortunate to be able to spend most days at home with Granddad, we are realizing he would likely benefit from a hired companion/respite caregiver. Gary unfortunately suffers from dementia; he has always been a very social guy, but we have noticed a lack in confidence in talking with new people due to word finding issues/confusion. We would like someone who is patient and kind to spend a few hours a week socializing/ taking him on outings and letting me get out of the home, worry free.
