Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Coos Bay

About who needs care: Mom has Alzheimer's. She dresses herself but does not cook or clean. Can become disoriented about times of day and when to go to bed and wake up. She loves to color and watch history on TV, and has some cat friends at home that she loves to talk to. We wake Mom up around 8am, make coffee, give medications. Then we watch TV for a few hours, maybe go outside to sit if the weather is nice. Lunch time is around 12 p.m. More TV time or coloring in the afternoon, and then dinner around 6 p.m. Bedtime is usually around 9 p.m. Mom loves to watch TV in bed for an couple of hours, and will turn the TV off by herself when she is ready. About the care needs: Would like someone with experience in Alzheimer's care. Someone who doesn't mind hearing stories repeated and can act as though they are hearing it for the first time. Mom loves to engage with people and chat, so someone who would be able to sit and talk and listen. Mom can shower and dress herself but needs reminding to do so. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
