Looking for a dependable, caring person with a fun, upbeat personality to spend Tuesdays with my mom in assisted living. She has early-stage dementia, is forgetful, gets confused easily, and is unsteady on her feet. She doesn't use a walker, so she needs gentle balance support. She's witty, sassy, and loves a good inappropriate joke, so someone with a light, playful sense of humor is a great fit. Responsibilities: Take her to her 1 p.m. water class @ senior center Help her change before and after Stay onsite during the class for safety Run simple errands afterward Return her home and help with light tasks: Scheduling appointments Light organizing Changing sheets if needed What We Need: Fun, positive personality with a calm, grounded presence Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience with dementia
