About who needs care: Mom has all her faculties except she can not see as well as she used to. She needs help going to the grocery store, and errands since she lives in Ramona. She also needs help managing the housekeeper each week as she can not see what they are doing, and then they don't clean as they should. She needs her pills organized once a month as well. She still drives soon but not far. She is active and can walk, and loves social activities at church, etc. I think she is lonely too so this would help her talk to someone a few days a week. About the care needs: She likes a bubbly personality with lots of energy. A kind, understanding person, who can take her places and talk to her about world events. She is educated and loves to converse about what is happening in the world. She is 92. There really isn't anything wrong with her except she can't see well. She does have some bowel problems at times, but she manages them. All in all, she will be the healthiest 92-year-old you'll see. She is very active in her church and is well known in the community. I don't like her driving so much so this is a good option to explore. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
