About who needs care: He is old, obese, and immobile. He pretty much moves from a recliner chair to a wheelchair once or twice a day, but often needs assistance. Uses an adapted toilet chair. Wakes up late and stays up late. Watches tv all day. About the care needs: He is usually nice and means well, but like a lot of old men, the social filter is weak. He can get grumpy at times and often doesn't read a room well. My mom is his care giver and it is a strain on their relationship, but she takes care of everything as a small 60+ year old woman. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
