About who needs care: Dementia. She's lost interest in doing anything. She used to be very crafty and loved her flower beds and garden. Now she just wants to sit on the couch, usually has TV on, and someone sitting with her. Doesn't want to be alone in the room. Is never hungry but will eat if food is put in front of her. About the care needs: Obviously someone with patience and kindness. Be able to help, and cleanup, incontinent needs. Help with bathing and mobility needs. Someone who likes to talk a little, about anything. Have experience with Dementia. Mom has panic/anxiety moments that can be distracted or talked thru easily. She is not combative. She's just sad. She will interact with anyone willing. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
