Need care for mom & dad in New Franklin (Akron). Mom can walk but uses a wheelchair and needs assistance with toilet and bathing. Dad is forgetful, misplaces things, usually his glasses. A healthcare aid with a sense of humor willing to go on a "treasure hunt" for mislaid items is ideal. Job duties include: preparing meals that have been pre-cooked and stocked in the refrigerator, keeping the kitchen and powder room tidy and an occasional a load of laundry is required. Non-smoker who is also able to give Insulin injections, conduct vitals and ensure meds are taken. Mom enjoys puzzle books and Dad will keep busy reading the newspaper. Both take frequent naps. Reference and background check are mandatory.
