A 79-year-old man with Parkinson's disease requires assistance with his morning routine, including getting out of bed, showering, dressing, preparing meals, and attending appointments. While he can sit and stand independently, he has significant balance challenges. He attends his Parkinson's gym twice a week and benefits from support during class, using a gait belt. He also has multiple therapy appointments throughout the week, for which he needs assistance with transportation. He uses a wheelchair-accessible van equipped with electric fold-out ramps and requires help with driving. We are looking for someone with some background in mobility issues and Parkinson's, especially someone who is comfortable with using the gait belt and providing encouraging words of support during challenging days.
