Seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver or nurse to support my 74-year-old mom during her 1-month recovery from major abdominal surgery and a new colostomy. She'll be staying with me, and we need someone steady, gentle, and skilled. Duties: Daily colostomy care (bag changes, skin care), medication reminders, vitals, light wound monitoring, assistance with bathing/dressing, mobility and fall prevention, light meal prep (soft/low-fiber diet), keeping her space clean, and providing calm companionship. Clear communication with family is essential. Ideal candidate: CNA/HHA/LPN/RN or equivalent experience with ostomy care, strong infection-control awareness, reliable, patient, and warm.
