She is hard of hearing so that's where the patience is needed at times. Otherwise, my mother is pretty independent, but sometimes unpredictable. Therefore, I don't want her left alone in the house. My house has a private driveway to park in. I have a large dog, who is very friendly. He is kept upstairs when caregivers are here though. I just don't want him to get in the way or tripped over.
