Live-in Home Care Needed For My Husband In Congers

About the job

We need live-in home care to take care of my husband in Congers. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with toileting and bathing. Responsibilities include assisting with feeding and some minor meal preparation (he cannot swallow pills, so we need to grind them and put them in yogurt, applesauce, etc.). Preference is for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained with own transportation and willingness to help with some errands occasionally. I work from home most days (except Wednesdays) and can manage him on my own in the morning (6 a.m. - lunchtime). Companionship help is needed after lunch, through bedtime. Furnished private mini-suite included in addition to wage. Weekends off but use of bedroom over the weekend is fine!
