About who needs care: Hello there, I am the granddaughter of the patient. She is in her 70s looking for an overnight caregiver. She has severe dementia, high blood pressure. Those are her primary health conditions. She enjoys watching games shows, morning tea and going to her daycare center. We would love to have you if you have experience with dementia patients and have enough patience to manage her highs and lows. Thank you. About the care needs: Redirection techniques to help manage confusion or agitation Safety awareness, especially understanding fall risks and wandering prevention Basic personal care skills (bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication reminders) Communication strategies tailored to cognitive decline CPR/First Aid certification is also beneficial. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
