About who needs care: We are looking for a live-in health worker to help our mother with daily living. She has limited mobility. Ideally someone who is looking for free-room in exchange for services. Or a hybrid of room+. Our mother lives on the first floor of her two-story home so the live-in would have their own bedroom/bath and living space. About the care needs: Someone who is curious, engaging, interested in reading/books. Our mother is historically a quilter and avid reader and gardener. Lives in Athens, NY hear Hudson / Columbia-Greene. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
