About who needs care: She has fallen and is unstable trying to walk so pretty much in a wheelchair. She has a couple of fractured vertebras in her neck, a fractured pelvis, knee replacement that is preventing some mobility. Her arthritis has crippled up her hands and taken her strength She is in a lot of pain and has been on hospice which we are hoping to continue. We would need help with medications being taken, dressing, bathroom visits, meals are provided by facility but may need to be retrieved or mom taken down to dining hall. Maybe showers unless we can have hospice continue that. About the care needs: Someone with patience she loves to visit with people and get to know them and share her stories and memories. Mom does have faith in Jesus and talks about her faith and did attend church until all this happened. She loves talking about her kids and husband, so I guess Im saying a good listener is important. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
