About who needs care: Dave has brain cancer, MS and is now bedridden due to being laid up in bed since March. After brain surgery in March he had issues with oxygen saturation and also aspiration pneumonia. He has Aphasia from the brain cancer. Dave has had 4 brain surgeries. He is verbal and can feed himself he tries to hold conversations but has issues with word finding. I am his wife Tina. I am doing all the care giving myself and it gets hard especially bathing and changing bedding. I do have a hoyer lift but am afraid to use it by myself. I do have Bayda nursing PT and OT coming to the home weekly. If you have a speech pathologist that could work with Dave with word finding, meanings, grouping items together and that type of skills that would be great. It doesn't have to be the same person that comes to help with bathing. Dave doesn't always listen to me but will cooperate with therapists and aids. The rest is in last screen Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
