Looking for an evening/overnight home health aide interested in full time or part time overnight work caring for a man in his 60s who is in a wheelchair and unable to speak due to a nuerodegenerative illness. We ask that the aide learn a method of nonverbal communication to respond to his needs 3 to 5 times throughout the night. Depending on the hours worked, some assistance with feeding and administering oral medication in the evening may be needed as well as bedtime preparation including use of a hoyer lift. Preferences are for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, vaccinated and CPR / first-aid trained and most importantly patient and kind and willing to work in collaboration with his wife and other excellent and caring home health aides!
