We are looking for a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide companionship and light assistance for our mother, a woman in her early 70's who is experiencing some memory loss and uses a wheelchair. Duties include: Waking her up when you arrive/asking her to get out of bed Providing friendly companionship and conversation. Assisting with daily routines such as: Helping her put in hearing aids Setting out already prepared meals Occasional bathroom assistance, especially in the event of an accident Offering gentle reminders and reassurance throughout the day We're primarily looking for someone who can be a steady, calming presence and help ensure she feels safe, cared for, and not alone. Ideal candidate: Has experience with elder care or memory loss.
