About who needs care: We are seeking a compassionate, trustworthy, and experienced Home Health Aide to provide in-home support for a nearly 100-year-old woman living comfortably in a quiet, clean, and calm home in a prominent Gastonia neighborhood. This is a stable, long-term position in a pet-free household with a low-stress, respectful family environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting day-to-day activities that allow her to continue aging with grace. About the care needs: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Support safe mobility and transfers (light assistance; client is healthy weight) Provide walking assistance or movement exercises as needed Assist with feeding when necessary Prepare simple healthy meals based on dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dishes, general tidying) Grocery shopping or errands as needed Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable living environment Check and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) Provide medication reminders Monitor changes in condition and report promptly Assist with basic health needs such as changing simple dressings Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
