About who needs care: She has been dx with dementia which has gotten worse. She lives alone. My husband her son lives in Warrensburg, MO and his younger sister lives in Conway Mo . She gets by there many be once or twice a week. But she is needing help with personal care. And someone to check that she is taking her meds , eating and help with bathing. She basically does nothing but sit. She has moved to the living room where she sleeps and spends day She is healthy. She is a post bariatric surgery many years ago. So she does know she has to eat. She does receive meals on wheels. They do a monthly drop for her. About the care needs: Someone who is easy going that will chat with her while they are there. Know about her meds and check blood pressure. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
