About who needs care: Mid-stage dementia, so having trouble with multi-step tasks and starting to lose words. Need help with grocery shopping, meal prep, and laundry - but also she is getting bored during the days and just needs some company. About the care needs: She is talkative, but also still wants to be independent, so we need someone that is patient, lets her take the lead, but then is able to direct her to a good outcome. We tried using Home Instead, but the minimum time was too much to start with and she didn't like having someone she didn't know there for 4 hours right away. So easing into it will also be important. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
