I am seeking help with my, frankly, extensive caregiving needs. I live in Minneapolis with my boyfriend, who has been my sole caregiver for almost a year. In that year, I have gone from being almost completely independent to needing help with essentially everything. Because my needs are many, we are not expecting to find one person for 8 hours, 7 days a week. The job: Any day of the week, ideally between the hours of 10a-6p. A typical day might include morning meds, stretching, breakfast (I have a feeding tube [G] so breakfast is formula), helping with basic self care and hygiene like brushing teeth, more meds, more formula, help getting to the bathroom, fun stuff like that. I love to spend time outside. I do need shower help. We already have a lot of equipment - hoyer lift, gait belt, slideboards, slide in shower chair, you name it.
