About who needs care: Mom doesn't drive. She just had surgery for a broken shoulder from a fall. We want to have her in rehab for a bit before she goes home. She has 6 or 7 stairs to navigate, which has been a problem leaving the house. She will need more help initially when returning from rehab. She'll need someone to help her with her physical therapy assignments. The goal is to keep her in her home. She will need help with cooking, cleaning, showering, getting dressed, errands, transport to PT/Dr. appointments. About the care needs: I'm looking for someone who can be kind to her and help with what she needs. I think she prefers someone who can speak English clearly. (She is also hard of hearing.) She loves to sew and she loves her plants. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
