About who needs care: Heart failure and chronic kidney disease, diabetic, history of heart attack 2022. Pacemaker with defibrillator placed in June 2025. Chair/wheelchair bound but he can help with transfers by pivoting his feet and holding onto something. His lives with his wife but she has dementia. About the care needs: Kindness, respect, flexibility, empathy are a few of the descriptors I can think of. My dad is currently in hospice care but we need more care in the home for daily activities and meal preparation. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
