About who needs care: Mostly disabled due to small stroke and end-stage Parkinson's disease. Transfers from bed to wheel chair to lift chair. Ideal day would be to wake, clean-up, have breakfast, play game or work on hobbies. About the care needs: -Care giver should be able to support 260# transfer from sitting to wheel chair. -Prior experience with Parkinson's disease or knowledge/training with hallucinations/delusions and Parkinson's 'moments' helpful. Upbeat personality. Not always on phone. Seeks to engage and learn about patients life. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
