About who needs care: A veteran with three types of cancer. He is very sweet and soft spoken. He needs assistance with transfering from bed to wheelchair and back, bathing, and toileting. He loves gardening, and watching wildlife in the yard. About the care needs: Patience and ability to speak up as my father is hard of hearing (has hearing aides). Needs assistance with preventing and caring for bed sores. Needs to be able to check blood sugars and administer insulin as needed. Needs to be able to assist with transferring him. He weighs approx 120 pounds Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
