We have my 89-year-old father-in-law living with us here in Auburn. He's in home Hospice. Andwell has been providing care for him over 2 1/2 years. They provide a CNA 5 weekday mornings a week. My father in law's decline has been accelerating and we realize we will need more help. I'm 69 and my wife is a school teacher. We're hoping to hire someone to come in 4 days a week to start with. Afternoons for a couple hours each day. Perhaps M-W-F-and a weekend day, something like that. We expect that we will need much more than that as his health declines. He is lucid, kind and thoughtful. He's legally blind, but does have peripheral vision. Mostly, Someone to just help him get to the restroom, or if he doesn't make it there, then help him with that. Give him a snack, keep him company and give us a break in the day. We do have 3 loving dogs.
