Seeking hands-on care in Frederick for my husband, in his late 60s. He has a brain tumor (glioblastoma). At this point, his cognition is fine, but he has a loss of sensation on his left side. He is currently using a walker, but hopes to regain the ability to walk with a cane when radiation and chemo end. He likes to chat and play board and card games. Hours of assistance needed are VERY flexible and may increase in the future. Assistance with medication may be needed. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a CNA or has other medical training, is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and is CPR /first-aid trained.
