About who needs care: My 90-year-old Mom has Dementia. She can still manage to dress and bathe herself, but she needs someone to watch her during the day as she gets confused easily. Ive tried to get her interested in a hobby but she doesnt respond well. She likes to get out and see places. She would need help to fix food during the day, give her medicine and to keep her busy so that she doesnt wander around the house and get into trouble. About the care needs: Her caregiver should have experience with Alzeihmers, and have patience. Preferably someone who is soft spoken. My mother is very quiet and socially awkward She likes to play games, but often (or always) forgets the rules. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
