This position is a split shift with care needed for a few hours in the am & pm-approx 3 hrs each shift. Help needed for my mother in her 80s. She has bulbar ALS, mobility issues and uses a an app for communication because she can't speak. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Assistance with medication is needed, light housekeeping, some personal care required, including feeding (must be comfortable with feeding tube - we will train). Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. The starting rate for this position is $19. 50/hr. Upon completion of a mandatory New Hire Training, your rate increases to $20. 00/hr. Wages are paid bi-weekly through a payroll company, as this position is funded through the client's health insurance.
