About who needs care: Her main health problem is long-term rheumatoid arthritis. She can get around with the hell of her walker. She takes a lot of medications and any caretakers would be responsible to make sure my mom takes her meds. About the care needs: My mom is, like a lot of people in her position, very proud, stubborn and occasionally argumentative. She doesnt like to admit needing help. My mom lives on the 3rd floor of the house, so any caregiver will have to be able to deal with 3 flights of fairly narrow stairs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
