About the job

About who needs care: Frontotemperal Dementia and he has very bad arthritis in his feet and knees, but does not want to use a walker or cane. He is currently mobile. He currently lives alone and gets by, but he is declining in ADLs and self-care. He is very joyful. Me and my brother stop in every evening after work to check on him and give him medication. He likes to be alone and has some paranoia regarding what is going on in the neighborhood. He does not like to socialize in any activity, but is pleasant with anyone who comes over. He lives in Independent Living, so he housekeeping and meals delivered already. About the care needs: I just need someone who is willing to sit with him and help him navigate his day. He is not a big talker. He needs assistance with hygiene and making sure he changes his clothes. He does change his clothes everyday, but he will wear the same set of clothes for sometimes a week at a time or more. He is very OCD and routine oriented. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
