About the job
We need companion care to take care of my mother in Shelbyville. Medication management is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. She was in a car accident and with a broken sternum and compressed spine she's in a lot of pain and requires help keeping her medication schedule, staying comfortable, and wound care. Must be able to transport to and from appointments as well as lift 40 lbs (her electric wheelchair) into cars.
