About who needs care: Developmentally disabled (tbi) senior, lives at home, goes to adult day care Mon-Fri. No behavioral issues. Needs help getting dressed in AM and putting to bed, meals and snacks made/served. Fully continent, but needs toilet hygiene. Periodic bathing, shaving. Diabetic, receives insulin twice a day. About the care needs: Someone familiar with dealing with intellectually disabled adults. Ultimately , someone who can stay in our home with him when we go on vacation. (Usually 4 days to 7 days at a time.) Can start with watching when we go out for an evening to get to know him. Prefer someone able to work in a home with large dogs. (Labradors). Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
