About who needs care: Very low vision, vascular dementia, and poor mobility. Had a hip replacement over the summer that helped with pain and a bit with mobility. About the care needs: I'm looking for someone who is more a cheerleader than a drill sergeant. Someone to help motivate her out of bed to move and to assist with hygiene (brushing teeth, shower, putting on clean clothes), and to be a companion. There are plenty of other people in the family, but she needs a new face. One she won't rebuke and bicker at. Mom loves trivia, music, books, nature, and being a Gramma. If you like golden oldies and showtunes and have a distaste for the current government, you're perfect. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
