About who needs care: I am a transgender woman who is fully estranged from family and has no local contacts or friendships. I suffer from trauma and ASD-like meltdowns (Diagnosis is not an option due to safety concerns from our current administration, but depression, bp1 and 2, general anxiety, and add/adhd have been rules out by professionals and I currently work with mental health professionals for informal ASD support). I suffered a pulled achilles heel in april, and it has severely impacted my already limited ability to routinely complete household tasks. I also develop nausea and wretching when I engage in physical activity (this has not successfully been identified by medical professionals) I work from home as a technical operations manager full time, and my hobbies include entertainment, design work and research, playing music and singing, and socializing. My days have little structure other than making my meetings and work needs for the day, and energy levels fluctuate from active all day and able to initiate tasks to unable to spend much time put of bed. While I have had more energy in general since september when I was able to work through a large chunk of trauma, I am still unable to care for myself or get the support I need. About the care needs: LGBT caretaker is a must for my safety. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
