About the job
I am looking for someone who can stay with my father when I need to leave the house for an extended amount of time, mostly weekends when my kids have sports. Shift would typically be about 4-6 hours but could be as long as 8 hours. About who needs care: MSA (Multiple System Atrophy)/Parkinsons. Balance/transferring issues, cognitive difficulties. Hobbies are just watching TV when he has the energy. About the care/service needs: Needs to be patient. Help with transfers, possibly helping with toileting, meal prep and medications, dressing, mobility assistance.
