About who needs care: My mother is 100yrs old, she is on hospice but still ambulatory. She has afib, diabetes, chronic urinary tract infections. She has a catheter that needs dumped as needed. needs assistance up to a wheelchair or walker to use the bathroom. She has her days and nights mixed up so she is awake almost all night so the candidate must stay awake. About the care needs: She is a kind woman, very gentle. We want a loving woman that wants to help an elderly patient. The person needs to be able to stay awake all night. She has her days and nights mixed up. So she is up most of the night, she eats several small meals and drinks her coffee. She needs assistance in and out of her chair and bed. She enjoys light conversations. She has macular degeneration so almost legally blind, she also wears hearing aids and is very hard of hearing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
