About who needs care: She is using a walker, but has difficulty getting up from a sitting or lying position. She eats on her own if food is put before her. She can no longer heat food by herself. She loves reading, sewing, and doing word searches, but her eyesight is getting so bad, she hasn't been able to enjoy these activities even with a magnifying glass. She needs assistance getting dressed. She has several adult children that can take care of her in the evenings and weekends. About the care needs: She needs someone that encourages her to do as much on her own as possible. Her long term memory is great, but she is failing in short term memory tasks. She still is able to play cards and carry on conversations. She is a strong Catholic and wants to continue to watch Mass daily and say her rosary. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
