About who needs care: Mom is fairly healthy, but she is in a wheelchair. She lives with my sister, who has been helping with what Mom needs help with. Now my sister has some health issues that require her to cut back on these activities. I live nearby, but my husband has leukemia and I cant be certain of being available to do key tasks. She will need something cooked on Monday that she can eat during the week for dinner. She will need the dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, the kitchen cleaned up and the trash taken out on both days. She needs bed sheets changed and laundry done on Thursday. She has a standing hair appointment on Thursday, but my sister shouldnt be lifting the wheelchair, so we are hoping to find someone who can also take her to that appointment. About the care needs: Ideally, someone cheerful and patient would be great! We think we probably need about 4 hours on both Monday and Thursday. She doesnt get up until around 10:00, so 10:00 - 2:00 or so would be good. She does have both a dog and a cat, so we need someone who is ok with animals. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
