About who needs care: I am a paraplegic (T4) which means I can't feel anything from my chest down. I usually get up around 8:00 a.m. and have a bed bath, exercise in bed , get dressed, and transfer into my wheelchair by 9:30. Then, I eat breakfast and I am ready for my day. I like to watch TV and movies. I also like to watch college football. About the care needs: I am looking for a compassionate, caring, patient, and careful caregiver. A sense of humor is always welcome. A woman who speaks English. I also would like someone who has experience working with a paraplegic person or is willing to learn. I would like someone who enjoys watching TV, movies, and playing board games. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
