About the job

We are looking for someone experienced in Alzheimer's care and ALS (or similar disease) care. This position would require: Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Wound Care, Bathing / Dressing, Feeding, Heavy Lifting, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Both loved ones need full assistance with transfers. Experience with a hoyer lift a definite plus, but we are able to provide training. We are looking for someone who is extremely attentive and caring. FIL requires assistance with cough machine and breathing machine daily and is practicing with voice assistance technologies as his voice continues to get weaker. We are hoping to find a caregiver who is devoted to a weekly reoccurring position. Additional hours and shifts may be available.
