My sister and I are looking for someone to take our mother on outings for 2-4 hours per week. Some things about our needs: - my sister and our mother both smoke so the companion would need to be comfortable with smoking/being in a smoking home (although smoking is done outside, the smell is still evident in the home) - our mother walks with a cane/walker so we need someone who will supervise her when she is walking - has undiagnosed cognitive decline where her short-term memory and behavior are impacted - is diabetic type 2 - enjoys shopping - enjoys Bingo - enjoys eating out - can be difficult/stubborn We are looking for someone who connects with our mom as more of a friend/companion and someone who can help keep her mind active and body moving.
