Companion Care Needed For My Father In Palm City

About the job

I'm looking for daily, in-home care for my 82yo father. We are seeking a companion as much as an assistant. This person will provide companionship and real social interaction - he loves to go out to eat, shopping, car shows, live music, etc. He needs assistance to keep living the independent life he enjoys, which includes: light house keeping/household tasks, laundry, making meals, shopping, med reminders & helping with emergencies. Additional responsibilities include: driving his car to take him on errands, to soccer games and to doctor/other appts as necessary. Candidate must be a non-smoker, have a clean driving record, be willing to connect with daughter (me) and his nurse. Ideal candidate is kind, speaks strong English, is laid back, and has a sense of humor. Hours are: Monday through Friday. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (appointment dependent).
