About who needs care: My grandmother is very independent, smart, and sweet. She lives alone, and just needs help running errands and getting to doctor's appointments, and to have someone in the house with her to provide companionship. She already has a housekeeper who cleans every two weeks, but needs help with light daily chores and organizing. She has friends and family nearby, and an active social life. She does not need mobility help, but it would be great if someone could hold her hand for short walks. About the care needs: We are looking for a friendly and empathetic person who likes to make conversation and play casual card games. Very clean habits, like frequent hand-washing, are also important. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
