About who needs care: Currently using wheel chair and walker - needs mobility help. Some bowel issues. Retired farmer. Help with meds, food and getting to Dr. apts. Also need house cleaning, laundry and some nursing skills - wound care, personal hygiene. Currently at home, but some hazards. About the care needs: Some one who is personable, kind and genuinely wanting to help elders. Get a long with dogs and animals. Need wound care skills, and ok with cleaning up issues with bowels. Would need to be able to drive him to Dr. appointments in Tallahassee (40 minutes away). Good cook and knowledge of nutrition would be a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
