Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Deland

About the job

We are looking for hands-on care to take care of my father (Joe) in Deland. Someone for day shift (8am-5pm) and someone for overnights (8pm-8am). He was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Looking for someone who has experience with Lewy Body Dementia. He has a daily routine to follow. He needs assistance with mobility (need to be able to help him get in and out of the wheelchair, bed, etc. using a gait belt and walker to help him). He needs assistance with daily bathing and grooming routine, activities like meal prep, home PT, and companionship. Also looking for someone who's able to do light housekeeping (some dishes, light laundry, changing bedsheets). Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We are looking for someone who can engage with him, redirect when needed. Must be comfortable with pets (dog).
